The Sellwood A36 is suitable for commercial use for ceiling heights 2700mm to 3660mm. They are often used as part of an integrated roof access system to allow servicemen safe, easy access onto roofs. Given the height and weight of the A36, Sellwood incorporated a number of unique design features including cam shaped upper stays and a second stage spring system to take the weight of the bottom two sections of the ladder as they are being unfolded and folded back up again, allowing for easier operation.
